Camp Woodruff

Summer camp is right around the corner and the Troop needs to make a payment to the camp this month.  We estimate the cost will be $515 per Scout. It may be less if we have successful funraising with our car show.  If you would like to attend a fantastic summer camp at Camp Woodruff this summer please plan on making a deposit payment of $120 by the end of February.  See Mrs. Heim if you would like to use funds already in your scout account.

Please make sure you catch up with Mrs Heim and get your payments in.  Our final payment to Sea Base is due in March.  You can check with her to get your balance. 
Also, make sure all scouts read the manual that was given to you.  It will give valuable information about the trip!  

Merit Badge Counselor Registration/Renewal Deadline Dec 30

It's time for Merit Badge Counselor Renewal/Registration.  Do you work in an industry that corresponds with one of the merit badges?  Do you have a hobby or interest that corresponds with one of the merit badges? If so, the Troop would love to have you register as a Merit Badge Counselor.

How do you become a MB counselor?  Complete a counselor registration form http://www.scouting.org/filestore/pdf/34405.pdf, complete online Youth Protection training https://www.gulfstreamcouncil.org/youth-protections, attend a one time MB counselor training course.

Scout Medical Forms

Scout Medical Forms must be completed annually and must be on a BSA from:

Part A and B are completed by parent

Part C by Doctor

PLEASE KEEP A COPY OF YOUR FORM. In the event a form is used at a camp or hospital a replacement copy might be needed for the travel book.
